Reception intake 2020 - 2021
We are really pleased to welcome our new Reception children who will join us in September. In these uncertain times, we are all living in the moment and finding it difficult to make plans for the near future. However, we will contact parents as soon as all places have been accepted to share information about transition to school and how we will support the children and families over the coming months.
If you have any queries in the meantime, please contact us on and your e-mail will be allocated to a member of staff who can deal with your enquiry.
Keep an eye out on this page for videos from the adults in EYFS over the coming weeks.
Below you can find links to information you may wish to know about for your child starting school in September.
The following links take you to information about your child's learning and development, some ideas to get children ready for starting school and some activities you might like to do over the Summer.
At Grange we want children to be happy, confident and to develop a real thirst for learning. We provide them with a safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and explore and aim to foster children’s individual wants, needs and interests in order to enable them to get the most out of their experiences. Children have lots of opportunities to facilitate their own learning through carefully resourced provision areas and adults support children through high-quality interactions that challenge thinking and extend learning. Through our interesting and engaging topics we endeavour to provide each child with a range of opportunities which stimulate their creativity and support their development based on their likes and interests. We value the importance of the outdoor environment in order to enable children to develop their thinking, problem solving and collaborative working skills.
