EYFS intake 2021 - 2022

It has been really lovely to meet the children and parents at our Stay and Play sessions. If, for any reason, you were unable to attend these, the video below will show you and your child a little bit about Grange Primary School. We are really looking forward to welcoming the children into school in September and meeting the parents and carers in your individual meetings which are taking place on 2nd and 3rd September. The children will then join, for the mornings initially, on Monday 6th September. If you have any questions or queries before then, please feel free to contact the school office and we will endeavour to be of assistance!

Mrs Bradshaw gave a short presentation to parents during the second Stay and Play sessions. Here is the information she shared with you during this presentation. Please click on the white arrow to move to the next slide.

Below you can find links to information you may wish to know about for your child starting school in September.

The following links take you to information about your child's learning and development, some ideas to get children ready for starting school and some activities you might like to do over the Summer.

At Grange we want children to be happy, confident and to develop a real thirst for learning. We provide them with a safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and explore and aim to foster children’s individual wants, needs and interests in order to enable them to get the most out of their experiences. Children have lots of opportunities to facilitate their own learning through carefully resourced provision areas and adults support children through high-quality interactions that challenge thinking and extend learning. Through our interesting and engaging topics we endeavour to provide each child with a range of opportunities which stimulate their creativity and support their development based on their likes and interests. We value the importance of the outdoor environment in order to enable children to develop their thinking, problem solving and collaborative working skills.
